AI Hand Washing Tool

I collaborated with a team of six students at Chapman University and LayerJot, a company building AI-powered tools for sterile processing technicians and hospitals.

We designed and developed an AI-based handwashing coaching tool using Python, OpenCV, and PyTorch to provide real-time technique guidance and improvement suggestions.

This project won First Place at the 2024 Fowler School of Engineering Grand Challenges Initiative Showcase.
